Thank you to all who have helped continue to make this blog a success. In recent weeks, I have been utilizing other media outlets to share my findings and offer support. Blogs are a powerful tool and I do enjoy using them throughout my career. I will continue to support this blog and share resources with you, but not as often. Your going to see a slowdown in my posts, if you haven't noticed already. I find tools like Twitter, Google+, Facebook, etc to be much more powerful in reaching an audience.

The Maestro Recommends/Understoodit - Measure Students' Understanding in Real-Time
Understoodit - Measure Students' Understanding in Real-Time
"The Problem
During lectures, it's hard for every student to let you know if they understand or if they're confused. Especially in large classes, many students are reluctant to express their confusion which limits both their learning and their enjoyment.
The Solution
Understoodit addresses this issue by allowing students to anonymously, and in real-time, indicate if they understand or are confused. Understoodit runs on devices that you and your students already own: smartphones, tablets, netbooks and notebooks.
For Teachers
Why wait until evaluations at the end of the term to find out if your students were confused? With understoodit, you get feedback in real-time allowing you to make changes during your lecture to help students understand difficult topics."

About Us - MentorMob
Here is the mission of MentorMob"The MentorMob Mission
We are making learning online free
and accessible to the entire world.
The ProblemUse the link above to get started...
Information is more accessible today than ever before, but even with the world at our fingertips and 24/7 access to experts everywhere, we find ourselves in a bind; We know there is great, free content out there that we could use to learn just about anything, but we also know that for every great article or video on the Internet there are 100,000 terrible ones to beat it to the top of the search engine results. Seeded from this frustration and fueled with the mission to change the way people access and learn from Internet content, MentorMob is bringing sense to all of this disorganization of valuable information."
