The Maestro recently used his iPad backup from iCloud to set up a new iPad. Rather than the old way of backing up on the Mac, I was using the cloud. I thought it would be easy and quick...
How wrong I was. It did restore successfully and it added all my apps however, I did not realize that each app from the backup needs to redownload over a wifi connection.
So just imagine if you had 50 apps or so in a backup and now you have to wait for it all to redownload again.
This being said, The EdTech Maestro does not recommend using iCloud for backups.
