So today was another exciting Day. I started with a Visit to Curtis HS to assist Jennifer Korten with I Movie. Her school recently upgraded their Mac Lab. They now have 24 17" monitor IMacs. This is a fantastic space. Students will be doing some video projects. I was also shown some new equipment for their photography club. All in all there is alot going on at Curtis.
I later met up with my partner Lia as we visited Mariann Troia at PS 18. 18 has one of the largest Pearls groups with 9 teachers currently participating in the grant. Since Mariann is the team leader at the school, she was our guide through the school today. We met with many of the teachers involved and assisted them with many questions and concerns. The team will be focusing on the Core knowledge curriculum as they implement their projects. Each teacher will be using a different Web 2.0 tool in the process. Can not wait to see the exciting projects that are in development.
